NES Binary codes not submitting correctly. | | POSTED BY: 2000 | 2006-03-21 19:08 UTC | When I first signed up for Cheatzilla (3/16/2006) I was able to enter NES binary codes like: 00061A:00. Now when I enter a code like that, it gets truncated to 061A:00 and is blue. I am not sure but I thought that blue lettering means that the code was not detected correctly. Has something been recently changed or am I just trippin'? | Reply

The code is truncated because the NES only has 16 bit addressing. The extra 00 at the beginning of the code is not necessary. Yes, I know there's a bunch of codes that have it, it was a goof in the program which has since been fixed, but I need to go back and fix all those codes. | Reply
