Anyways, Harvest Moon would be a Simulation, kinda like The Sims or SimCity. Definitely not an RPG, there's no fighting!
Also, I found another good discussion of video game categories at http://www.robinlionheart.com/gamedev/genres.xhtml. I don't agree with everything he wrote, but it's certainly very comprehensive and goes into detail about the definition of each category. | Reply | | | |
