Maybe something under profile so we can track what codes we’ve posted where. I don't have a list and I don’t remember every game I've posted under. Maybe some kind of feature that categorizes codes based on what they do under each game; health codes, ammo codes, ect. How exactly does request a cheat work? | Reply | |

It's essentially a more formal version of people coming to the message board and requesting. On Wednesday I had rigged the server to email me whenever someone did a search and there were no results found. I spent the day trying to hunt down games and add them.
Unfortunately my email was overwhelmed with searches for "Search by title" (I guess people think the server is telepathic and if they concentrate hard on the title it figures it out?) and searches for stuff that already is on the server but they couldn't spell close enough.
So I setup the request thing so I could see what it was people did want and I could get the cheats or else send back a pointer to the cheats which are already here. At the moment all it does is log it and email me. So far though no-one has tried it out. :-/
The plan is to find a place to show all cheat requests to everyone so that those of you that have been volunteering to find cheats via the message board can also help out. And for those dedicated few cheat finders I was going to set it up so that if they want it, when new cheat requests come in the finders would get a notification. | Reply | |
